The Tucson's 5-star rating signifies its strong performance in various safety tests, including adult occupant protection, child occupant protection, and safety assist technologies.

Adult occupant protection

The Tucson scored 30.84 points out of 32 points in adult occupant protection and 41 points out of 49 points in child occupant protection. The vehicle's safety features include six airbags, three-point seatbelts, electronic stability control, ISOFIX anchors, and a Level 2 ADAS system. The rating applies to both the Platinum and Signature variants of the Tucson.

In the frontal offset deformable barrier test, the Tucson earned 14.84 points out of 16. It received a perfect score of 16 out of 16 in the side movable deformable barrier test. These results highlight the vehicle's structural integrity in impact scenarios.

Child occupant protection

The Tucson excelled in child occupant protection, achieving a perfect dynamic score of 24 out of 24 using child restraint systems.
