Pure EV is set to introduce PuREPower in 2025, a cutting-edge energy solution designed for household utilities.Electric two-wheeler player, Pure EV, has announced an ambitious plan to expand its domestic and global footprint while introducing innovative solutions aimed at advancing sustainable mobility. Over the next 30 months, the company plans to add 250 new dealerships, increasing its network to over 320 outlets across India.
This expansion is driven by a surge in demand for long-range scooters, electric motorcycles, and large-scale B2B contracts, as well as Pure EV’s vision of becoming a household name in the electric mobility space.
Nano PCM for enhanced safetyA key highlight of Pure EV’s innovation is the integration of Nano PCM (Phase Change Material) technology into its battery systems. This industry-first advancement ensures efficient thermal management, eliminating risks of unsafe thermal incidents, thereby bolstering consumer confidence.
According to Dr. Nishanth Dongari, Founder and Managing Director of PURE EV, “Our adoption of Nano PCM has not only enhanced the safety profile of our EVs: bringing it to zero incident rate, but also significantly improved battery performance, resulting in 20,000 customers across Pan India crossing 40,000 KM each and still going,”.
EV motorcycles for the Indian market Focusing on motorcycles, which dominate 70% of India’s two-wheeler market, Pure EV has launched two flagship models: the ecoDryft, designed for the 110cc segment, and the eTryst, catering to the 125cc market. Both models are built on the company’s advanced X-Platform, delivering an impressive mileage of 171 kilometers per charge. These vehicles also feature advanced powertrain capabilities, including HillHold, Coasting Regen, and Reverse Mode, ensuring a superior user experience.
Vehicle optimisation with predictive AIIn addition to its technological advancements, Pure EV is leveraging predictive AI and cloud-based systems to enhance battery life and optimise vehicle performance. The integration of AI enables real-time health monitoring, predictive driving analytics, and personalized updates, ensuring an enhanced ownership experience for customers and operational efficiency for dealers. Generative AI-powered customer support, offering personalised communication in regional languages, further reinforces the company’s commitment to customer-centric service.
B2B contracts for global EV adoption Large B2B contracts are central to Pure EV’s growth strategy. The company has recently supplied over 300 electric motorcycles to organizations such as the Tamil Nadu Forest Department and Tata Power in Odisha, demonstrating the rising adoption of electric mobility in fleet operations. Expanding its reach beyond India, Pure EV is currently exporting electric two-wheelers to Nepal and Bhutan and plans to enter markets in the Middle East and Africa by the end of the 2024–25 financial year.
Adding to its portfolio, Pure EV is set to introduce PuREPower in 2025, a cutting-edge energy solution designed for household utilities. Built on the company’s robust battery and powertrain platform, PuREPower offers three times more surge power and twice the lifespan of existing systems. This product is AI-powered and compatible with renewable energy sources, redefining energy backup solutions for a sustainable future.
