Anil Khandekar, who served as Business Unit head - ASIA - Brakes at Hitachi Automotive Systems has recently ended his 5 year tenure in the company. He has now joined Faurecia India as President and will be leading business development and operational performance across the Indian market.

Faurecia India, a part of Forvia group, deals in designing and manufacturing exhaust systems, electronics, seats, interior systems, and other components for a vehicle.

He was an integral part of Hitachi Automotive Systems, following the acquisition of Chassis Brakes International by Hitachi Automotive Systems. He served more than 3 years in the Automotive Stampings and Assemblies, Tata Group, as per the professional networking site, LinkedIn.

A veteran with more than 3 decades of experience in the automotive industry has played a crucial role throughout his journey in manufacturing operations, business development, setting up greenfield projects, creating orbit shifts in organisations, and many more.

Expertise

He has participated in senior management programme (SMP), and General management in Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta. He also holds a B.E (Mechanical) degree from Government college of Engineering, Karad.
