Yokohama India launched Made in India 19-inch tyres for high-end luxury SUVs. The tyres are manufactured at their Bahadurgarh, Haryana facility, using a "GLOCAL" approach combining global technology with Indian driving conditions. This aims to provide superior comfort, control, and durability. The launch addresses the rising demand for luxury SUVs in India, which experienced a 34% year-on-year growth in FY24.

Yokohama India aims to meet the evolving needs of the premium SUV segment with these 19-inch tyres . The company believes these tyres complement the performance and luxury of high-end SUVs. Yokohama India seeks to enhance the "motoring lifestyle" with this new product.

The increasing demand for luxury SUVs in India, which saw a 34% year-on-year growth in FY24, further supports the company's decision.
