Ashok Leyland emphasised its continued dedication to innovation, excellence, operational efficiency, and sustainability within the commercial vehicle sector.
Ashok Leyland, India's leading commercial vehicle manufacturer and flagship of the Hinduja Group, will raise prices on its entire commercial vehicle range by up to 3% starting January 2025. The price hike is attributed to inflation and rising commodity prices. The increase will vary across models and variants. The company aims to partially offset increased input costs with this adjustment.

Ashok Leyland stated that the price increase will be effective January 2025. The company confirmed all products across its commercial vehicle range will see a price adjustment.

“Inflation and higher commodity prices have necessitated this price increase...This move will help mitigate a part of the input cost impact,” stated the company.

Ashok Leyland emphasised its continued dedication to innovation, excellence, operational efficiency, and sustainability within the commercial vehicle sector.

LCV dealerships

Ashok Leyland has recently inaugurated a new Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) dealership in Siliguri, West Bengal. This marks the company's fifth LCV dealership in the state. The expansion into Siliguri reflects Ashok Leyland's strategic focus on West Bengal and the broader Eastern India market. This region's growth potential has prompted the company to establish a strong presence, with the new dealership in Siliguri serving as a significant step in this direction. The company attributes the success of its 'Dost Range' and 'Bada dost' to the robustness of its products and the extensive reach of its network. Customer satisfaction is further reinforced by a high service retention rate, with approximately 70% of customers choosing Ashok Leyland dealer workshops even after their warranty period expires.
