The Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, scheduled for January 17-22 across three venues in Delhi NCR, aims to showcase India's growing role as a global mobility hub. Building on the success of its 2024 debut, the expo will feature over 1500 exhibitors, 500,000 visitors, and a focus on sustainable solutions and cutting-edge technologies, inspired by Prime Minister Modi's 7Cs mobility vision. The event is a Ministry of Commerce and Industry initiative, coordinated by EEPC India with support from various industry bodies.

What does it all include?

The expo will span over 200,000 square meters, incorporating nine concurrent shows. These include Auto Expo – The Motor Show; Auto Expo – The Components Show; Mobility Tech Pavilion; Urban Mobility and Infrastructure Show; Battery Show; Construction Equipment Expo; Steel Pavilion; Tyre Show; and Cycle Show. Over 20 conferences will feature global experts discussing various aspects of the mobility value chain.

The event aims to be the largest gathering of mobility players globally, attracting over 5,000 global buyers, a tenfold increase from the 2024 edition. This year’s expo expands to include Yashobhoomi in Dwarka and the India Expo Centre & Mart in Greater Noida, in addition to Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi.

Driving automotive innovation

The expo highlights India's commitment to engineering excellence and sustainable mobility solutions. It will showcase the latest advancements across the automotive and mobility value chain, including electric, hybrid, CNG, and biofuel-powered vehicles.

Participants

The event will host over 34 prominent vehicle manufacturers, unveiling new models and electric vehicles. Leading pure EV manufacturers like Ather Energy, Ola Electric, Vayve Mobility, Eka Mobility, and Vietnam’s Vinfast will be present. More than 800 auto component manufacturers and 1,000 brands from over 13 global markets will participate. Dedicated country pavilions from Germany, the UK, South Korea, and Japan will be featured. Other participating nations include the USA, Spain, UAE, China, Russia, Italy, Turkey, Singapore, and Belgium.

The expo emphasises its global significance, aiming to attract substantial international participation. The event seeks to foster collaboration and growth within the mobility sector. It provides a platform for showcasing India's progress in the mobility domain.

Union Minister of Commerce & Industry, Piyush Goyal, addressed the curtain-raiser event in New Delhi. He stated that the event reflects India's vision and unifies the entire mobility value chain. He unveiled the event film and brochure.

Union Minister of State for Commerce and Industry, Jitin Prasada, also attended the event. Goyal commended the ministries and industry bodies involved for organising the event, which he described as the world's second-largest mobility show.

Beyond Boundaries: Co-Creating the Future of the Automotive Value Chain

The expo's theme, ‘Beyond Boundaries: Co-Creating the Future of the Automotive Value Chain,’ aligns with India’s vision for a connected world. Shri Goyal emphasised the government’s commitment to supporting the sector’s ambition to become a global leader in mobility technology. He encouraged a faster transition to electric vehicles, highlighting cost-effectiveness through scaled production.

He described India as a compelling investment story, leveraging skill, vision, and ambition. He positioned the Bharat Mobility Expo as a platform for attracting investments and expanding trade and exports. He urged participants to invite international players to expand their businesses in India.

The Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 is a Ministry of Commerce and Industry initiative. It is coordinated by the Engineering Export Promotion Council India (EEPC India). The expo receives joint support from over 11 apex industry associations. These include SIAM, ACMA, ICEMA, ATMA, IESA, NASSCOM, ISA, MRAI, ITPO, Yashobhoomi, IEML, IBEF, CII, and Invest India. PwC India serves as the knowledge partner. The expanded event is being held in collaboration with 15 ministries, state governments, industry associations, and industry leaders.
