25 Model Year DefenderLand Rover has launched the 25 Model Year Defender in India with a new V8 engine, priced starting at INR 1.39 crore (ex-showroom). The updated SUV is available in 90, 110, and 130 body styles, in X-Dynamic HSE and X derivatives. The new model boasts enhanced performance, comfort, and design features. Land Rover aims to strengthen the Defender's position in the luxury off-road SUV market.

Features
The new V8 P425 engine delivers 313 kW of power. This engine option is available across the three Defender body styles: 90, 110, and 130. The 25MY Defender is offered in X-Dynamic HSE and X derivatives.
Land Rover has emphasised performance enhancements for the 25 Model Year Defender. These improvements include Terrain Response and Configurable Terrain Response for varied terrains. Electronic Air Suspension and Adaptive Dynamics enhance ride quality. The vehicle also features All-Terrain Tyres and 50.8 cm (20) Satin Dark Grey wheels.
Design
The interior of the Defender 25MY features upgrades such as 14-way heated and cooled electric memory front seats with Ebony interiors and winged headrests. Second-row climate seats with winged headrests are also included. Other features are Nubuck edged carpet mats, suedecloth headlining, leather steering wheel, and Windsor Leather and KvadratTM or UltrafabricsTM seats.
The technological features include the PiVi Pro system with an 11.4-inch touchscreen. An Interactive Driver Display and 3D Surround Camera are also provided. Other notable features include Configurable Cabin Lighting, Matrix LED headlights with DRLs, and a Sliding Panoramic Roof. The Comfort Pack adds a Meridian Sound System, front centre console refrigerator compartment, and a soft-close tailgate.
The exterior design of the 25MY Defender includes a Black Contrast Roof option. An Extended Leather Upgrade is also available for further refinement. Additional packs offer tailored enhancements. These packs include the Cold Climate Pack, the Advanced Off-Road Pack, and the Family Comfort Pack.
Specific details for some of the optional packs are as follows: The Off-Road Pack includes Electronic Active Differential, black roof rails, all-terrain tyres, a domestic plug socket, and Wade Sensing. The Advanced Off-Road Pack features All-Terrain Progress Control, Terrain Response 2, Configurable Terrain Response, Electronic Air Suspension, Adaptive Dynamics, and Automatic Headlight Levelling.
The Dynamic Handling Pack comprises Electronic Active Differential, Electronic Air Suspension, Adaptive Dynamics, Automatic Headlight Levelling, and a 20-inch full-size spare wheel. The Air Suspension Pack includes Electronic Air Suspension, Adaptive Dynamics, and Automatic Headlight Levelling.
