The MG Windsor has been well received in India since its launch. Indian Olympic medalists were honored for their performance at the 2024 Paris Olympics by JSW Sports and JSW MG Motor India with the gift of an MG Windsor, India’s first intelligent CUV. The athletes who received the vehicles participated in events such as Javelin Throw, Pistol & Rifle Shooting, Wrestling and Hockey. The presentation occurred at an event in Chandigarh.
Company representatives and dignitaries were on hand to present the athletes with their new vehicles. The MG Windsor has been well received in India since its launch. “Within a span of 24 hours from the booking’s commencement, it garnered over 15,000 bookings and emerged as the best-selling Passenger Electric Car in the month of October. ”
The MG Windsor is described by the company as combining “the comfort of a sedan and the expanse of an SUV offering a luxurious business-class experience to customers.” The vehicle “is offered with futuristic aerodynamic design, spacious and opulent interiors, reassuring safety, smart connectivity, driving comfort, and many hi-tech features. ”
B-a-a-S model and other features
The MG Windsor offers several features to provide owners with peace of mind. These include Battery-As-A-Service, a lifetime battery warranty for the original owner, an assured buyback of 60% after three years and one year of free charging at public charging stations using the eHUB by MG app.
The MG Windsor is powered by a 38 kWh Li-ion battery pack that is IP67 certified. The battery delivers 100KW (136ps) power and 200Nm Torque. The vehicle features four driving modes: Eco+, Eco, Normal and Sport. It has an ARAI certified range of 332 km on a single charge.
